We’ve not updated this site for a long time, however the Wytchery is still running, with our 5th year about to launch at Treadwell’s books in London on September 9, 2026.
We run our 2-hour workshops every second Wednesday from September to June from 7-9pm at Treadwells. Classes still sell out quite quickly and the only way to book is via Meetup, so please join us there if you are interested.
Don’t worry if this is all new to you; in fact, if this is all new to you, we hear from previous attendees that the Wytchery is a great place to start. Our workshops are led by a fun and welcoming group of experienced witches, ranging from coven leaders to people who were originally Wytchery class members. We are there to offer knowledge and insight at all levels, and to support in the actual ‘making’ part of the workshop, as you will always make something to take home (and charge it up in a ritual) at the classes.
We love being part of the Wytchery, we learn as much from the class as the class learns from us, if not more; and we come out of each session energised and enthusiastic; we hope you do as well.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who has joined a Wytchery class in the last four years. People have brought their knowledge, their skills and their enthusiasm for all things magical and witchy; and we know that long-term friendships have been forged – and wonderfully, that people have been inspired to seek and join covens, as well as to join other pagan paths.
The Wytchery is one of several regular, public, pagan groups in London and we know a lot of you come to many of them, including Lunar Itar, the Pagan Federation open rituals, Wood Spirits and Manny’s woodland rites, among many others. It’s a real privilege to be part of the public tapestry of witchcraft in London and we aim to be a resource for those who attend our workshops, helping people figure out what suits them, where else they might want to go – and sometimes, where they might want to avoid.
The cost for the class remains at £10 per session. This covers the cost of the venue, the cost of materials, the cost of Meetup Organiser, plus the little food and drink we offer at the end, to ground everyone back into the real world.
Please join us if you are interested – and if you’d like to see what others think of us, here is a link to our reviews on Meetup.
with love,
The Wytchery.
