We are delighted to announce a third series of The Wytchery, following another sold-out season. We will again be running on the 2nd Monday of each month between September 2024 and June 2025 (inclusive), at Treadwell’s Books in London, UK.
The Wytchery has been an absolute delight to run and we have seen not only ongoing sold-out dates, but a wonderful change in the way we are working. From our launch as two coven leaders, we now have a collective of Wiccans and witches, representing covens from all around London who join us to give their wisdom on topics ranging from energy work to spell work to creating relationship with deity and the elements.
Each class continues along the same format. We start with a meditation, designed to throw you out of the mundane world and into a more thoughtful mindset. We then continue with a discussion of the subject matter, starting with our guest speakers and inviting all participants to join into as we go. We then invite everyone to make something – in the past this has included witch bottles, wands, talismen, sigils, poppets and a variety of spells and items which you can take away and add to your own practice. We then take a short break, following which the group joins together in a ritual practice, in which you are invited to use and/or charge the item you have made.
While some people come along to every session in a series, some opt to drop in and out and that is absolutely what this series is designed to to – to give you a taste for what it might be like to work in a group and, if you like, to meet like-minded people and perhaps continue your journey into a life-long experience.
The Wytchery is a safe and inclusive space and welcome people of all backgrounds and levels of experience.
We are honoured to be working in the wonderful and magical environment of Treadwells Books. It’s worth noting that the shop closes at 7, so if you are keen to browse the incredible selection of books and magical items, please arrive early as there is no opportunity to shop once the workshop begins.
